To cater for an increase in number of passengers and as a part of our commitment to providing our customers with highest standards of comfort and reliability, Biman placed orders worth a total of US$ 1.4 billion for 10 aircraft from Boeing : four 777-300ER, four 787-8 Dream Liner, and two 737-800NG for delivery between 2011 to 2021.
2011 is shaping up to be another milestone year for Biman, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh. We plan to re-launch New York service this spring. The Big Apple will be a highly desirable destination from Dhaka, specially for Non-resident Bangladeshi travellers who are excited about flying directly to and from the USA.
