Hitaishi-Bangladesh

Hitaishi-Bangladesh is a Non-governmental, Non-profit, development organization. Hitaishi-Bangladesh has been established by some committed and dedicated professionals at the initiative of M.A. Majid (Ex-editor of a National Daily). Hitaishi-Bangladesh has been implementing various programs since 1992 and is dedicated to the Socio-economic development of the economically disadvantaged & vulnerable women and children of both rural and urban areas. Hitaishi emphasizes on bottom up participatory and integrated development framework focusing the target group development approach. In some special cases, it has also been implementing the development activities following the community-based development approaches. It mainly emphasizes the fullest participation of the people in every development efforts, initiatives and also to undertake joint venture project for the people’s development. To achieve these objectives, Hitaishi-Bangladesh has been providing its services through different development programs to address the needs of its targeted stakeholders in the different sectors in the development field. Since the inception of its experience, Hitaishi-Bangladesh has already been implemented different prevention and awareness related health program, education program and other development program in the different area of Bangladesh both in rural and urban areas. The target people of Hitaishi-Bangladesh are the poor, hardcore poor, distressed and the marginalized classes of the society.
