Barisal Club Limited

The Barisal Club is one of the latest of the clubs that have come up in Barisal and by now has its own premises on nearly 1.5 acres of land in club road of Barisal, with 1376 members (including 48 Foreign National Members).

When Barisal had developed into a fairly populated community, with almost all the amenities of urban neighborhood, people were thinking seriously of setting up a private club. In February of 1986, a few residents of Barisal met for discuss about the formation of a club styled 'Barisal Club Limited'. Those enthusiastic persons formed a committee for taking necessary steps to set up the Club. This Committee took various steps to incorporate the Club, like rental of temporary accommodations and arranging various facilities for the Club's own land.
